How to use the Conference blog
The Vitae conference blog is available for any conference attendees to post thoughts and reflections on the conference. We are encouraging presenters, participants and those who were unable to make the conference to all blog. The subject of blog posts is up to you, but we would suggest that the following might be particularly interesting:
- Background or further information on workshop topics
- Reflections on the topics discussed at the conference
- Thoughts on how attendance at the conference will impact on your practice. Is there anything that you are particularly going to take back to your organisation?
- Anything that you feel should have been covered during the conference or that should have been given more time or depth.
- What you have thought about the use of Twitter and Podcasting at the conference.
There is no minimum or maximum length for blog posts. However typical posts might be between a paragraph and 300 words.
There is also the opportunity to comment on other people's blog posts using the comment facility.
How to add a blog
To add a blog, log in, go to the dashboard (top left of page) and select ‘my discussion articles'. When adding a new discussion article, please post it to 'conference blog'. Ensure the published date is correct, an abstract has been completed to provide an overview of your post to users, and the publish option is set to 'yes'.
