Building an evidence base of the the impact of researcher development activities
Biography
Tony is responsible for the Graduate Training and Support Centre (GTSC) at the University of Leeds, which provides a wide range of skills training and development opportunities for postgraduate researchers. He is also the co-ordinator of the Vitae Yorkshire and North East Hub. Tony was lead author of the original Rugby Team Impact Framework document first presented in 2008, has led the implementation of the framework and has authored the sector update reports on behalf of the Impact and Evaluation Group. He also authored 'Evaluating Training and Development Programmes for Postgraduate and Newer Researchers' as part of the Society for Research into Higher Education series Issues in Postgraduate Education: Management, Teaching and Supervision.
