The PsyPAG Psychology Postgraduate Affairs Group are very proud to announce that the PsyPAG annual conference - celebrating the 25th Anniversary of PsyPAG - is being held at Sheffield Hallam University in conjunction with The University of Sheffield, from 21st to 23rd July 2010.

The attendance for the PsyPAG conference in 2009 was superb. Postgraduate psychologists from institutions across the UK were able to present first class research to their peers and esteemed psychology colleagues. The annual conference is a great opportunity to connect with others working in your field, swap findings and ideas, and to meet other postgraduate students in psychology in general. Whether you are about to submit your thesis, or are just beginning your postgraduate career, the conference is a supportive friendly arena in which to present and receive commentary and interest concerning your research. The opportunity to meet others who are in a similar position to yourself can be invaluable, with support and advice on offer from those in all different fields of psychology.

Together with traditional poster and oral presentations, we will also be running workshops and other practical sessions to enhance your learning and teaching skills. We also wish to appeal to postgraduate psychologists who may be following an applied route into the discipline, to come along and contribute, whether it be as part of a workshop, or simply as a chance to network with similar individuals.

Social events at the conference will include trips into the heart of Sheffield, together with our formal conference dinner and a free wine reception. To commemorate our 25 years, we have some celebratory offers and prizes in store, and the return of some special PsyPAG alumni guests: individuals who have helped to make PsyPAG the successful organisation it has been over the last 25 years, and who are now celebrated psychologists themselves.
