Implementing The Concordat - one year on16 June 2009

Event overview

This event will highlight the exemplars of good practice and current approaches in implementing the Concordat for both the London and East of England regions.  Participants will be offered an opportunity to share approaches, develop further ideas for implementing the Concordat and to find out about strategy and policy from keynote speakers.

The day will be split in two with a plenary session in the morning and group discussions in the afternoon.  The afternoon discussions will focus on:

  • careers and support
  • recruitment selection, equality and diversity
  • training

Participants will be asked to indicate their order of preference for the group discussions when booking.

The event is free of charge and intended for those who support the professional and personal development of research staff including  those involved with human resources, staff development, career advice, equality and diversity, policy making.

Additional information

 Places are limited to 60 due to venue capacity.  Allocation is on a first come first served basis
