This third Vitae conference will focus on the rationale, models and practice for sustaining researcher development for the long term future.
A number of initiatives and projects will be launched or explored at the Vitae conference. These include:
- latest developments from the Research Councils in relation to the Roberts' agenda,
- the launch of a major report ‘Impact of researcher training and development: two years on'
- an update on the recently launched Researcher Development Statement and Framework
- two major additions to the ‘What do researchers do?' research series:
- ‘Doctoral graduate destinations and impact three years on'
- ‘Career profiles of doctoral entrepreneurs'
- updates and outputs from the 2009 Vitae Innovate projects are available in the workshops and exhibition;
- launching, with ARMA, Occasional Paper No 5 of Issues in Research Management and Administration, ‘Hard Times? Building and Sustaining Research Capacity in UK Universities'.
