Yorkshire and North East Hub Public Engagement Competition
History
From 2004- 2009 the competition took the form of a poster competition and the 2009 and 2011 entries can all be viewed by clicking on the gallery links below:
- Winners Hall of Fame

The entries here are a brilliant resource for how to comunicate research clearly and concisely to the general public. To view full size versions of the posters just click on each thumbnail.
Pecha Kucha
In 2010 an additional format was added to the competition by including pecha kucha presentations. Pecha kucha presentations contain 20 slides, each of which is shown for 20 seconds resulting in a presentation of 6minutes and 40 seconds, for examples please go to www.pecha-kucha.org
we shortly hope to be able to upload some films of our own pecha kucha entries here, so please keep coming back to check.
Articles
A competition article has been published on the Vitae engageing researcher blog pages and there has also been an artcile on the Pecha Kucha format included in the latest copy of 'Overview'.
