Comments from part-time researchers who attended the workshops in 2009:
I just wanted to say many thanks for today it was by far the most useful training I've had so far!!! Many thanks for allowing me to attend and I will be informing the University of my attendance and how useful I found it.

I went to the training event in Birmingham on Wednesday and it was great. We covered how to structure your thesis and managing supervision. Both sessions were really informative, and I think what made the event all the more memorable was sharing PhD research experiences with other students who were studying part-time. Everyone had something to share, and year of study did not matter. It was great to meet everyone, and there were some other OU PhD students too! The events are really worth attending what ever stage in the research process you are at.
