The European Science Foundation and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) are pleased to invite you to the International Workshop "How to track Researchers' Careers" taking place on 9-10 February 2012 at the Conference Centre of the Chamber of Commerce, Luxembourg.
The workshop is held under the auspices of Mr François Biltgen, Minister of Higher Education and Research of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and organised in the framework of the ESF Member Organisation Forum European Alliance on Research Career Development.
Workshop goals
∙ bringing together leading experts from all over the world with a track record and long-term experience in following up the career paths of researchers
∙ featuring a mix of theory and practice through presenting career tracking initiatives, their purposes and methodologies as well as their major findings
∙ providing a forum of learning how to set up a tracking of researchers in a funding agency, institution, region or country
∙ offering the opportunity to present tracking studies not yet included in the programme via poster presentation
