Vitae has completed a series of Researcher Development Framework (RDF) briefings for different stakeholders involved in the professional and career development of researchers. In 2011, Vitae published the Researcher Development Framework briefings for researcher developers, research staff, postgraduate researchers, and senior managers. We are pleased to announce that we will soon be launching the Researcher Development Framework briefings for the following stakeholders:
- Principal investigators and supervisors
- HR specialists
- Career specialists
- Funders
- Employers
Vitae's Researcher Development Framework is a comprehensive new approach to enhancing the careers of researchers. It was developed by and for researchers, in consultation with HEIs and employers. The Researcher Development Framework articulates the knowledge, behaviours and attributes of successful researchers, and encourages them to aspire to excellence through achieving higher levels of development. Policymakers, funders of researchers and other stakeholders have endorsed the associated Researcher Development Statement (RDS) as a useful strategic overview of the RDF.
