National Careers in Research Online Survery practice sharing event 02 November 2010
Event overview
This event will bring together the community of CROS users to share practice and knowledge on both an operational and strategic level.
There will be presentations from Vitae and the CROS steering group on where CROS sits both strategically and operationally including some background on previous CROS results. The day will also include discussion workshops and an opportunity to look at the Bristol Online Survey tool.

1. So you're new to CROS (including getting approval to run CROS from your institution, how to identify and engage your research staff and the ethics of CROS)2. You've run CROS what next? (Including how to use benchmarking effectively, how to disseminate the results & using the data to inform institutional change)
3. CROS in context
(including how CROS fits with the Concordat, the Researcher Development Framework and the Impact agenda)
13.00 Lunch with BOS technical drop in surgery
14.00 Discussion forum on the more strategic aspects of running CROS including how CROS can inform the research environment
15.30 Break
15.45 Plenary round up
