The NW hub is hosted by the University of Manchester within the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences. The Vitae NW Hub team are committed to enriching professional and career development support for researchers across the region. The hub has established an enthusiastic steering group with members from each key Higher Education Institution in the North West. The Hub organises and supports an extensive range of activities including:
- Managing an annual good practice event for the region.
- Establishing a network of regional contacts to share ideas and resources.
- Facilitating local and regional events for researchers, for example the Postgraduate Researchers in Science Medicine annual conference.
- Disseminating policies, events and resources throughout the region.
