Session A workshops will explore the consequences of potential future strategies for Roberts funding, the implications for researcher development provision and the evidence required to inform decision making.
The workshops provide participants with the opportunity to explore what various funding strategies could mean in practice for institutions and develop recommendations to RCUK, government and HEIs on how best to build on recent improvemenets in provision and train the next generation of researchers
The six workshops will look at the advantages and disadvantages of different funding options to enable a sustained and strategic approach to professional development of our researchers. They aim to create a better understanding of how existing HEI provision will change in response to potential changes in funding.
The workshops in sessions B and C explore a range of activities to take forward the researcher development agenda. There will be a maximum of 6 workshops in each session with the most popular workshops being run twice.
