The Concordat - Sharing best practice
Following the successful "Implementing the Concordat - one year on" at the Royal Institution in June 2009, the Vitae London and East of England Hubs are pleased to invite you to a "The Concordat - Sharing best practice" half day event on 29 June 2010 at the Institute of Physics.
This event will focus on practical issues and will look to address the following questions
- What works really well
- What doesn't work
- What were the benefits to researchers and the institution
- What next
In addition to updates from the BBSRC and the UUK, the meeting will include a series of short 5 minute presentations with personal examples from speakers who have implemented the Concordat principles in various ways within their institutions. These will be followed by open discussion with the audience. Then the event will end with a networking lunch.
This is an opportunity to come together and share what you are doing and its impact on research staff.
The full programme is now available.
The event is free of charge and intended for those who support the professional and personal development of research staff including those involved with human resources, staff development, career advice, equality and diversity, policy making.
Use the registration form to book a place.
For further information you can contact the London hub or the East of England hub.
