Electronic submission for YNE conference and events grant

This grant will be used to:

Hold either a conference or an event either generic in nature or in a specific subject with a generic training element that must be held before the end of September 2012.
Provide postgraduate researchers and research staff the opportunity to experience planning and running a conference or event.
Foster collaboration within the planning group by encouraging applications from different institutions across the Yorkshire and North East region.
Encourage networking for the participants who attend.
Include an explicit transferable skills training element for all the participants (more than networking) who attend in such a way that all participants are involved*.

The grant is restricted to:

Applicants that are registered at the 13 institutions that make up the Yorkshire and NE Hub.
A new event or conference; or an event that has been held previously but which is now in jeopardy due to withdrawn funding, or is being used in a different or innovative way.
