A Hub for Sharing Practice (SNI)
Universities want to learn from each other and find out how they meet the needs of researchers, helping them to achieve their potential. The Hub can offer a space in which to do this or can be an active member of an existing group which meets to share ideas.
In Scotland this sharing is a key element of the researcher development landscape, with a ScotHERD group which meets regularly to review policy and discuss implementation plans. The Hub also organises specific event to enable focused consideration of practice, at times leading to further activity or shared events.
The Hub also leads on event follow-up to share impact and extend the reach of collaborative events. Examples of practice sharing reporting include:
- Concordat Implementation in Scotland: Report
- Measuring the Impact of the Roberts Agenda and Funding in Scotland: Event report
