The London Hub "widens strategic commitment to researcher skills and careers development and raises the profile of high level skills"

Due to its central location, the London Hub is often the first point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders and international visitors. We are in a good position to strengthen the message around the importance of transferable skills training for researchers and are we are also able to contribute by providing a picture of the UK and its higher education system.

Quality of output and who benefits:

Our interventions allow us to demonstrate Vitae‘s position as an important interlocutor and essential partner in policy discussion around the implementation of the researchers' development agenda.

Impact on the audience:

Visitors tend to come back to us if they need clarification or want to continue discussions further and we are also recommended directly by RCUK when international visitors want to know more about researchers' development in the UK.

Collaboration:

We collaborate with the Concordat co-ordinator and co-ordinate activities with Vitae's central team.

Sustainability:

Many countries are in the process of developing the researchers' agenda. We foresee an increase in the number of approaches by international visitors. The fact that the London Hub is seen as a reliable partner and available to support them in their work is crucial to provide a sustainable future.
