Research Information Management: Organising Humanities Material

Research Information Management: Organising Humanities Material is a course for humanities researchers (including graduate students), designed to occupy about half a day. Included are a course book, a set of sample files for use during course exercises, and a slideshow for classroom use (the course book and exercise files can also be used for individual study). Topics covered include: identifying your working style; organising paper and electronic material; file and folder structures; tagging vs. hierarchical filing; retrieving information; and linking notes and sources. These course materials are part of a set of resources created by the Sudamih Project at Oxford University Computing Services.
