- David Maher is currently a management consultant working in public sector reform and social enterprise & third sector development. He has a special interest in developing Public Services 2.0 where users and communities take a greater role in the design, delivery and evaluation of public services.
- Biography:
- He has degrees from the University of Cambridge, is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2011.
He is working towards Chartered Management Consultant status.
He was responsible for the development of 2 of the 26 Department of Health’s Enterprise Pathfinders and sits on the DH Health and Social Care Forum, Innovation for Life Evaluation Panels & the Cabinet Office’s Third Sector Review of Evidence-Based Research Group. He is also a founding member of a pan SHA Social Value Steering Group which is tasked with embedding social value methodologies into existing and future commissioning activities. He also advises the NHS Sustainable Development Unit on sustainable commissioning and is currently working with a cluster PCT in east London.
