- Biography:
- Lynn came to Skills Development from a research background in cognitive neuropsychology (based at University of Manchester), during which one area of particular interest/focus was on ‘how we make decisions & judgements based on implicit and explicit information’. Her experience as a Skills Developer however, has led to a deeper passion and curiosity for ‘how we might support and enhance greater understanding as to how we/others might view the world,’ and more interestingly (for her at least) ‘what this means in practical terms for our interactions, relationships and collaborations.’
- Testimonial one:
- "I have line managed Dr Lynn Clark for the past seven years and during that time she has developed into an excellent colleague - clear, sharp, emotionally very intelligent. Coupling fantastic people skills with excellent project management abilities gives Lynn a terrific profile and the ability to adapt, be flexible and to let projects thrive. She gives close attention to detail while also recognising the big picture. She's an excellent presenter too and a trusted confidant, loyal and understanding. She also has a great sense of humour and lights up the world. I cannot recommend her highly enough." Dr Richard Hinchcliffe, Director of Postgraduate Training, University of Liverpool.
- Testimonial two:
- "I have worked with Lynn on a number of training activities which she has directed and I have found her to be a great 'people-person', a good motivator and highly professional in the ways in which she interacts with others. It is very easy to be patronising in a training context, particularly with less confident participants such as first year students, but Lynn's great skill is to use her experience and expertise to engage others and encourage them to realise their own strengths (and weaknesses). She's also a real nice person!." Professor Karen Ross, Faculty Director of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Liverpool
