- Biography:
- Sharon specialises in improving performance for individuals, teams and businesses in transition. She is an extremely competent and experienced coach and supervisor. Her 25 years of corporate experience in the areas of communication, commercial, project and operational management as well as her enthusiasm for getting results adds to her value as both coach and supervisor. Sharon has an energetic approach and believes that people learn best when they are having fun. From 1987 – 2005 Sharon worked in a variety of roles for Unilever including Finance, Operations, Information Management and Internal Communication. Her interest in performance coaching was ignited over 15 years ago ultimately leading her to become a member of the Global HR team where she was responsible for the training and supply of internal coaches to the high potential Leadership Development programme. Before working for Unilever Sharon spent 7 years with Texas Instruments. She has a Bsc in Mathematics from Exeter University. The last fifteen years of Sharon’s work has related specifically to communication, change, transition and performance improvement. Creating engagement and alignment by being explicit and sensitive to the needs of individuals and the demands of a situation she ensures people feel included, take ownership and develop effective and efficient working relationships to get results. With a proven track record of success (both in the public and private sector) designing and delivering development programmes that help individuals and teams achieve higher business performance, Sharon’s pragmatic style combines reflection with action and leads to her workshops being very interactive. She engages participants, coaching them as they work and actively focusing them on their goals which both builds their confidence and stretches them .
