Andrew works with people who want to leave their job and start their own business. More and more people today are looking for a way of earning money that has a closer fit with their personal values and gets away from all the stuff that goes with corporate life. Since 2002 he has helped hundreds of people get inspiration, ideas and practical help with leaving their job and starting their own business. Following a successful career in business management, project management and management development within the energy industry, Andrew decided to start his own business and is passionate about using this experience to help others find the best way through the minefield. Andrew holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, is a graduate of the Institute of Personnel Management and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is also a certified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Master Practitioner Time Line Therapy. He lives in Essex and is the father of three noisy daughters!
Biography:
Andrew has over 18 years successful experience in business management. He worked in the Utility industry during the change from public to private ownership and led significant integration projects following two major acquisitions. His work as a coach and trainer is supported by experience "at the coal face" managing teams, running cross-functional projects and making direct marketing pay. Some of the projects Andrew has been involved with include: * Coaching at all levels within a blue chip energy company. * Design and delivery of a staff development programme. * Workshop leader for project management, creative thinking and personal development groups. * Creating a cross-functional team to move a substantial business across London, leaving it in a fully operational state, within 12 weeks. * Managing the integration of two industrial and commercial gas businesses following acquisition. * Managing the complete migration of 30,000 customers to a complex network of new databases with no loss of revenue. * Extensive direct marketing experience including generating over £10m of leads in 10 weeks leading to complaints from the sales team that it was too successful! * Marketing Communications Manger for both Consumer and B2B markets. Andrew is a good listener with a passion for helping others</strong> achieve their personal and professional goals. Additional information:
As well as work as a Grad School tutor on National and Local Schools I have worked with CRAC on "The Skilled Graduate" and in particular as a facilitator on the (then) DTI Knowledge Transfer Partnership working with researchers on industrial placements. Recently, along with two other colleagues on this database, we have been working with the Graduate School at University Of Kent delivering a range of interpersonal and career skills training.
