An experienced speaker, Samantha Smith has delivered numerous workshops, lectures and training sessions, to diverse audiences across the UK. Biography:
Samantha Smith graduated with a BA (1:1) and MA (Distinction) from Exeter University and then worked as Deputy Picture Editor at a regional press agency. Whilst in this role she developed an international syndication network and tripled income from secondary sales. In 2005 Samantha set up Transition Tradition an online publication and portal, to helps students and graduates to make the transition into creative careers. In 2006 Samantha was selected to participate in the NESTA Pioneer Program and went on to secure investment to research and develop Union Wire - an innovative web 2.0 application for creative organisations. The application is used by Arts Council funded organisations and creative businesses. As well as running Transition Tradition Limited, Samantha delivers training to staff and students at Higher Education Institutions across the UK, helping to improve employability and encourage enterprise among ‘multi vocational’ graduates.
