Manchester Metropolitan University Institute for Performance Research presents its First Annual Postgraduate Research Conference
10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
This postgraduate conference is for posters (size A0) only and it is open to all postgraduate students from the Arts, Humanities, Science, Technology and Business.
First Call for Abstracts
This is a first call for poster abstracts. The conference is open to postgraduates from all disciplines and the organising committee are keen to see as wide a range of topics and methodologies as possible. Abstracts should be between 350 and 500 words long and formatted into a Word document using the Chicago referencing style appropriate for academic writing in the topic area. Authors should also provide a maximum 100 word biography, plus full name, affiliation and email address. Send abstract to conference organiser Dave Day on D.J.Day@mmu.ac.uk

Conference Information
Abstracts will appear in a Pre-Conference Book of Abstracts. There will be two prizes each of £50 of book tokens, one delegate prize and a committee prize. Short seminars on ‘How to Get Published' delivered by leading academics from different disciplines throughout the day. Further details available after submission of abstracts but in the meantime please direct any queries to Dave.

Entry requirements/cost
Free for all MMU registered postgraduates. £10 for postgraduates from other institutions. A buffet lunch is included.
