Biography

Dr Jane Wellens is responsible for the strategic development of the University of Nottingham's researcher development programmes for postgraduate students, research staff and PhD supervisors. She has recently worked on a number of projects to explore the international dimensions of researcher development including supporting activities on the University of Nottingham's international campuses in China and Malaysia and a British Council project to support the development of research supervisory capacity amongst academic staff from the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
