Biography

Ronnie Kershaw is a National Organiser at UCU, the University and College Union, where he has worked for nine years. He supports branches  campaigning for increased job security for researchers to enable them to have careers and to create better research environments, including at Sheffield, Cambridge and Oxford.  He has responsibility for UCU's national researchers' e-mail network that allows researchers to discuss relevant issues and be updated on current issues, and co-delivers researchers' workshops that cover legal rights, local policies and campaigning.  He has helped to update UCU's Researchers Survival Guide, a practical guide for researchers, which has recently been reprinted.
