'What's up doc' contributor training 201112 May 2011

Event overview

This is an interactive training day for bloggers, during which you will learn:

  • what makes a good blog post
  • how to comment
  • how to build a community.

Places on the training event are limited. If you are interested in contributing to the blog and would like to attend the training day, please post an example of an article on the blog. In addition, send an email to tennie.videler@vitae.ac.uk outlining why you want to be involved, what you would do to champion ‘What's up doc?' and stating what discipline your research is in. We will select participants for the training day based on your submissions and reimburse reasonable travel expenses.

To post on the blog, register on the Vitae website, go to the ‘dashboard' in the top left hand of the screen, choose ‘my discussion articles' and press go.

Venue information

Maple House is in the heart of Birmingham, easily accessible from New Street and Snow Hill stations with convenient parking nearby.
The venue is a short walk from the famous Bullring shopping area and the city's excellent bars and restaurants.

Entry requirements/cost

This event is free of charge.
