CROS is aimed at anonymously gathering data about working conditions, career aspirations and career development opportunities for research staff. It is invaluable to institutions in helping to understand the experiences and needs of their research staff. All institutions (especially those who did not have an opportunity to participate in CROS 2009) are encouraged to participate in CROS 2010 as part of the implementation of the Concordat for the Career Development of Researchers.
CROS 2010 will be open from 1 March to 31 May and institutions can choose when they run the survey within this timescale.
