Deadline for workshop proposals 25 June

Vitae is inviting participants to submit a workshop or fringe session proposal or suggest content for the third annual Vitae conference: Realising the potential of researchers to be held on 6-7 September in Manchester.

Workshops. The call for workshop proposals closes on Friday 25 June.   Workshops will be well planned, structured sessions lasting either 55 or 80 minutes. They will have clear learning outcomes for participants and address an area of policy or practice in researcher development.  55 minute workshops will run on Monday 6 September, and 80 minute workshops on Tuesday 7 September. To discuss your idea for a proposal, contact Peri Cihan, tel. 01223 448537. We look forward to hearing your suggestions! Propose a workshop

Fringe sessions. These offer an opportunity to explore an area that does not clearly fit into a workshop but is of interest to some participants; it may not have predefined outcomes or may be a fledgling idea only! Fringe proposals will be considered at any point, but only those submitted by Friday 25 June will be considered for inclusion in widely circulated conference information. Propose a fringe session

Conference programme. Tell us what you want to see in the conference programme:  Whether you have an idea for a topic you would like addressed, areas of practice you would like to learn about or specific people you would like to hear from please post up your ideas.
