Digital researcher 2010

On 15 March 2010, Vitae and the British Library hosted their first 'Digital researcher' event for postgraduate researchers and research staff to explore the use of Web 2.0 in research, networks and building researchers own profiles.  80 researchers participated in the event which included presentations and interactive sessions on subjects such as microblogging, RSS feeds, social networking and social citation sharing.

#DR10 A hashtag was also agreed prior to the event and participants were all asked to create twitter accounts (if they didn't already have one!).  Participants were asked to include this hashtag in any tweets, blogs and comments about the digital researcher.
