Like the UKRSA, these hubs meet with the support of the regional Vitae manager. They are comprised of local research staff associations from institutions within the hub in much the same way that the UKRSA is comprised of a UK-wide community that interacts online and with the support of the central Vitae team.
More information on the Vitae regional hubs can be found on the Vitae website. The eight hubs, institutions where each hub is based, and the hub managers are:
Joanne Warner - eehub@vitae.ac.uk
Kay Dorelli - londonhub@vitae.ac.uk
Rachel Blanc - londonhub@vitae.ac.uk
Kate Mahoney - midlandshub@vitae.ac.uk
Emma Gillaspy - emma.gillaspy@manchester.ac.uk
Amy Cartwright - sandnihub@vitae.ac.uk
Anne Goodman - swwhub@vitae.ac.uk
Currently, the only hub with an organised association is Scotland and Northern Ireland. More information on this association is available on the website of the ScotHERD Researchers Network. If you would like to become involved in the activities of the ScotHERD Researchers Network, please contact Amy Cartwright to be added to Basecamp.
Efforts are underway to establish an association in the London hub. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please contact Rachel Blanc for more information.
