What's up doc? is an open forum for PGRs to their experience, careers and skills development.
Posts are encouraged on the following topics:
- career, professional and personal development
- up and coming events and news related to career, professional and personal development
- policy developments relevant to PGR
- feature articles such as interviews, career histories, academics talking about their time as a PGR etc.
- useful resources for PGRs
Vitae encourages openness, diversity of opinion and robust debate as long as it is not:
- untrue, defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually oriented, threatening, or invasive of a person's privacy
- in violation of any law of the United Kingdom
- posting advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes or commercial solicitation.
- posting copyrighted material without permission
- "trolling" or posting content designed to inflame, incite or that has no purpose at all
- linking to content in violation of this guidance
- false reporting of posts and/or abuse of the reporting feature
- evading or attempts to evade warnings, bans, or other administrative actions
- or any other posts that are deemed inappropriate by Vitae.

What's up doc? is a multi-disciplinary forum for PGRs to discuss their experiences. It is not designed to be an academic journal and encourages participants to consider their role as a researcher rather than report on the details of their research.
