Last week I went to an evening where the speaker was Sandra Dawson. As she has held board positions in numerous health organisations and financial services companies and writes on leadership and management of change I felt she fitted in rather well with the leadership theme we’ve started on here.

Elsewhere I have discussed the Science Communication Conference. In the keynote lecture Tim Radford, ex-science (and literary and arts at other times) editor of the Guardian, discussed journalism through the years, with some cautionary tales for the era where online seems to be the sole source sof information for many young people.
