This event is aimed at those who are using, or are considering using, Vitae programmes and resources (programmes include GRADschools, ‘How to be an effective researcher’, Broadening horizons, Careers in academia).
The event will provide an opportunity to share practice, increase awareness of Vitae training resources, build relationships, and input into the development of future Vitae resources for institutions.
During the event participants will:
- share practice and latest developments in regard to designing and delivering GRADschools and the ‘How to be an effective researcher’ programmes
- explore Vitae programme models, resource materials, and databases that are available for institutions in delivering training programmes
- investigate further ways that Vitae can enhance its provision of resources for institutions and explore the development and sustainability of communities of practice
- formulate ideas for new resources
- have an opportunity to network with institutional contacts and local and national GRADschool tutors
- hear about the latest developments in the creation of a formalised Vitae associate network
- explore options for evaluating the impact of Vitae resources and programmes.
