Research Staff Association (RSA) impact survey and Guide

Vitae and the UKRSA committee have developed an online impact survey, which is now open for completion by members of RSAs. The aims of the survey are to:

  • explore evidence that demonstrates to stakeholders how RSAs are contributing to the engagement of researchers in the implementation of the ‘Concordat to support the career development of researchers' .
  • explore evidence that demonstrates the impact of RSAs within higher education institutions
  • how to establish and sustain an effective RSA
  • The results of the survey will be published in a report at Vitae's Research Staff Conference in November. In addition, ‘A Guide to Research Staff Associations' will be developed, based on case study examples, to provide the necessary motivation and ideas for researchers wishing to found or perpetuate an RSA.

Full information, including links to the surveys and information about the Guide can be found at www.vitae.ac.uk/ukrsaimpact2010. The surveys are open until midnight on Friday 10th September.
