Following on from thematic member forums and our recent survey for international members, Vitae invites members to join this forum to consider the Australian perspective on Vitae membership and learn more about our annual programme of events. Attendees will be invited to discuss adapting the Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) to the national context in Australia.

We will also revisit themes raised at Vitae Connections week, such as the future of the Researcher Development Framework (RDF), and explore how they compare and contrast to current policy and practice within the Australian research system. Finally, attendees will have time to network with colleagues at Australian universities and the team at Vitae.

The forum will take place on Thursday 21st October from 16.00-17.30 AEDT and registration is now open.

Who should sign up?

If you belong to a Vitae member organisation in Australia and you support the development of researchers, then this event is for you.
