Dr Anna Seabourne

Anna Seabourne leads the Researcher Environment team at the University of Huddersfield with a remit to foster a positive researcher environment for postgraduate researchers, post-doctoral researchers and research staff across the institution. 
Anna worked extensively in Japanese higher education, including a pioneering initiative preparing graduates for international careers. Her PhD used communities of practice theory to research education and self-development in a classical Japanese martial art. She holds a qualification in coaching and mentoring from CMI. Anna is passionate about learning, teaching and the researcher environment.
