Dana Magregor

Biography 

Dana MacGregor, PhD, AHEA has a broad background in plant molecular genetics research where her publications and grants focus on understanding how plants chose the right molecular responses that allow them, or their offspring, to survive the challenges of their environment. She is currently asking what traits make plants weedy and establishing ways to do hypothesis-led research in weedy species. Dana is also an active skills development practitioner, teaching transferrable skills and supporting researcher development. In addition to skills gained during her Knowledge Exchange Fellowship she has facilitation and mentoring training and leads monthly “Things I Should Know” seminars.
