Biography

Dr Maria Weikum

Maria is the Concordat Officer at the University of Strathclyde where she works on supporting the implementation of the Researcher Development Concordat across the University. As part of her role, she is involved in data gathering and stakeholder engagement, the development of strategies and actions around researcher development as well as the delivery of activities for research and academic staff.

Maria previously worked as a research manager and postdoctoral researcher for 3 years in the UK and Germany. During this time, she managed large-scale scientific collaborations and was actively involved as a committee member of the University of Strathclyde's research staff association (Researchers' Group).
