Dr Robin Mellors-Bourne
Biography
Robin is CRAC’s Director of Research & Intelligence. He leads CRAC and Vitae’s research and evaluation work including projects that add to the evidence base that underpins Vitae. He has led over 50 research or evaluation projects on career-related themes, many relating to postgraduate and researcher careers and the research environment. He has particular interests in career transitions, graduate outcomes and satisfaction, employability development, diversity and inclusion, and career tracking. He is regarded as an expert on analysis of the key HESA datasets, writing several of Vitae’s the ‘What do researchers do?’ reports, doing extensive work on the profile of researchers at different career stages and acting as lead analyst for national CROS, PIRLS and CEDARS data.”
