Kirsten Barnard

I work as a Senior Careers Adviser working with PGRs and ECRs with my colleague and job share Lucie Whitfield.   I have worked in this role over the past 3 years, before this role I worked with undergraduates for 7 years.  Within my role the focus is on career guidance, workshops, strategic support with faculties/schools and colleagues across the University and with the wider University community.  I specialise in coaching individuals around career confidence, strengths and wellbeing.  Before joining the University I worked for 10 years in the voluntary sector, where I managed and ran a careers project for people who were vulnerably housed, mental health or drug and alcohol issues.
