Lesley Alborough

Biography 

Lesley is a Social Research Specialist within the newly formed Research Environment team at The Wellcome Trust. Lesley is responsible for creating an evidence base for innovative and experimental approaches to the delivery of Wellcome’s Research Funding Programmes. Within this role Lesley both conducts and commissions research to support new approaches to grant-making and to generate practical insights into the broader political, social, and cultural contexts of Wellcome’s research funding activities with a view to informing Wellcome’s approaches to developing more equitable and inclusive research and research practices.
