Dr Sophia Donaldson

Sophia Donaldson is a careers consultant for UCL PhD students and research staff. Her background is in biomedical research, and after her PhD in molecular genetics she worked as a post-doctoral researcher and then as a science communicator for several research charities and think tanks. Before working at UCL she provided careers support for postgraduate students and researchers at King's College London and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Through consultancy work with The Careers Group, Sophia has also delivered training sessions and one-to-one support for the British Medical Association, the Association of Optometrists, Cancer Research UK, and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory.
