Biography
Associate Professor Tracy Riley is the Dean, Research at Massey University and New Zealand’s leading scholar in gifted education. As an award winning teacher and advocate for giifted learners, she relishes every opportunity to apply what she knows about the exceptional abilities and qualities of the gifted in her role as Dean with responsibilities for graduate students. Tracy is Secretary for the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and a member of the New Zealand Deans and Directors of Graduate Schools and Australian Council of Graduate Research. Her research explores how teachers respond to giftedness, and she is currently co-leading a Teaching Learning Research Initiative applying gifted principles of differentiation in mainstream classrooms.
