Charlie Gerlis

Charlie Gerlis is in the second year of her PhD at the Centre for Health and Clinical Research, University of the West of England, Bristol. Her research focusses on how digital technology can be optimised to promote physical activity for people that have rheumatoid arthritis and is funded by Versus Arthritis. Charlie qualified from Cardiff University in 2013 with a first-class honours degree in physiotherapy and she subsequently worked in the NHS for 8 years. Her clinical work established her interest in supported self-management for people with long-term conditions including the need to better support individuals to be physically active.
