Biography
Clare has provided careers support to research staff and students at Nottingham for ten years. The support includes individual careers guidance sessions and the delivery of career management training courses across the university as part of the Graduate School’s Researcher Development Programme. She is also a member of the AGCAS Research Staff Task Group which provides a professional focus for the network of Careers Advisers for Early Career Researchers. Clare co-edited the Research Staff TG’s report “Getting that First Lecturing Job”, she has authored careers resources for jobs.ac.uk, is an expert panel member for the Naturejobs Careers Community and has contributed to Epigeum’s “Supervising Doctoral Studies” online training resource.
