Researcher Development Programme Manager (Early Career Research Staff)
Dr Christopher Wood is a researcher development manager at the University of Exeter. For many years he was a senior research scientist at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He is an editor of a plant-biology related international peer review journal.
His passion for developing early career researchers is evident by the many contributions he makes to both regional and national agendas; he was shortlisted for a prestigious Times Higher award for ‘excellence in the contribution to researcher development’. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and sat on the sector-wide ‘Impact and Evaluation Group’.
