Biography 

David is the Centre Manager of the Manufacturing Technology EngD Centre at The University of Nottingham, a partnership between Nottingham, Loughborough and Birmingham. David joined the University of Nottingham in August 2011as manager of the newly formed centre. He is responsible to the Centre Director for operational matters, and takes an active role in strategy and partnership development.
David is a manufacturing engineer and worked for over fifteen years in a manufacturing and an applied information technology role. Since then, David has worked at the university-industry interface from both sides and in the middle, whilst Knowledge Transfer Manager within the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA).
David has practical experience of working with researchers, academics and industry sponsors across multiple research projects hosted at Nottingham and with partners Loughborough and Birmingham.
