Biography
Dee-Ann is responsible for delivering professional development training and coaching to early career researchers. In this role she leads on supporting researchers involved in public engagement and research impact activities and co-ordinates university-wide science communication initiatives such as engagement@manchester and competitions such as Junk the Jargon and Images of Research. Dee-Ann also sits on the planning committee for the Manchester Science Festival. Following a career as a technical author, usability specialist, and communications project manager she moved to the UK to pursue a career in research and professional development.
