Diret Tang'an

Biography

Diret holds a BEng and MEng in Chemical Engineering from Nigeria and obtained an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK, where he is presently concluding his PhD sponsored by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). Diret is passionate about saving the environment and his current research is focused on carrying out a robust and systematic remediation-technology evaluation for decontaminating petroleum polluted soils. Diret advocates for the environment and uses process engineering principles to solve environmental problems to help achieve Net Zero.

When not working or spending time with his family, Diret loves singing and writing songs.
