Biography 

As a Senior Lecturer in the Research and Graduate School at The University of Bolton, Dr Angela Tinwell has developed a new CPD Masters level module entitled, ‘Research Degree Supervision', for new and existing academic staff. Angela has experience of managing those supervising research degree students and ensuring best practice in research degree supervision.  She also manages workshops and lectures as part of a skills development programme for research degree students at home and overseas. Angela gained her PhD in Human-Computer-Interaction (HCI) at the University of Bolton and has published extensively on this topic. This background in HCI helps Angela with the design and delivery of distance learning material for research degree students and supervisors in the Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle.
